Facebook Advertising - Our Experiences

In an effort to drive more targeted traffic to Top Search Result’s website, we have been testing out some Facebook advertising. This also allows us to keep up on innovative advertising techniques for our client’s and drive more business to us.
I have noticed that real estate agents have been testing out Facebook ads lately but they don’t look like the targeting features were used too wisely. This seems to me like a waste of money.
For real estate advertising, I’m not sure yet if it would be better to advertise individual properties or companies...I wrote a little while about some good free Facebook for real estate tips.
Facebook Ad Criteria Selection
There are various criteria in which you can specify who the ads are seen by in Facebook. The main criteria in which Top Search Result concentrated it's ads on was the "keyword" section where we specified to only show the ads to people who have real estate in their Facebook profile. Hopefully this will target real estate agents which is our target market. Of course it will also show for non real estate agents but it is the best Top Search Result can do.

Facebook gives you lots of statistics to back up your ads as seen below. Check your analytics to see if the visitors to your site are staying a while or just clicking and moving on.
