Domain Flipping

It is not a surprise that many people are making some big money by reselling domain names. They call these people domainers. Here is a site on ways to practice this type of business. Basically everyone wants a .com domain but these are limited and all the good ones are about to be taken. Domainers can either develop a high quality website (traffic, design, etc.) and then sell or they can just sit on it and hope someone will need the name in the future.

Even if you're not going to flip domains, you should prevent anybody from snatching up domains you may want in the future. Buy domains for your full name, your business, and anything you might want protected in the future. If you see a trend of something becoming popular you may want to find a good domain that covers that trend. You can take that $10 a year and make some real money. I usually think of domain names that are already taken. So I haven't tried this out, but sounds interesting to me.
