Google Adwords and Real Estate
I have spent the majority of this week trying to figure out a good Google Adword system to implement for Century 21 Colonial Realty. Basically I'm trying to set it up so that if someone sees a house for sale by Century 21 in Charlottetown all they have to do is Google the property address. The ad will then take them to the listing page. I'm pretty sure the system will be implemented but it will take some time to test and decide how it will be advertised in print.
The biggest issues with this idea is the sheer number of listings that Century21 Colonial has. They have 35 agents working there and hundred of listings. So it will take some time to get a good framework up and running to handle so many ads. Consequently I have been a little slow to add new blog posts...
Setting Up Google Adwords
Setting up an adwords account is fairly simple. Just $5 initial fee and then pick some keywords and go. You can set your budget for $1 a day or however much you deem necessary. Google does a very good job of explaining the service. if you have a small business, I would recommend trying it out.
Always start by purchasing your name or the name of your business because you always want to show up on a search result for those keywords. Once you get used to the system you can start adding more specific keywords in regards to your product like, "PEI Real Estate". Be careful though since this is a more popular phrase you are going to pay more per click.
