RSS and Feedburner For Real Estate

I have been experimenting a lot with RSS lately. Never quite got the whole point of it. Anyways I have been adding some of my real estate RSS feeds to a bunch of different sites so that they would update automatically. If you look on the sidebars of Top Search Result you can see how I have added some RSS feeds from my other blogs. This updates automatically with fresh content. Pretty much every blog now comes with RSS feed capabilities available.
Real Estate RSS Feeds
I have various client’s who I like to keep updated on any blogging they have done lately. So I went and put all the and put their feed into Google Reader. Now anytime they update their blog it shows up on Google Reader. This eliminates the need for me to check every individual site to check for updates. I really enjoy that so now I’m adding different blog feeds as I cruise through the internet.

Now I see clearer why people use RSS feeds. The only problem is if they’re viewing that feed through Google Reader, they’re not coming directly to the website. That means my tracking system (Google Analytics) is all messed up. This is why everybody uses Feedburner. It tracks how many subscribers you have and also allows you to put ads onto the feeds. It is also owned by Google. Shock. ha.
Notice that Top Search Result's RSS feed takes you through Feedburner when you click the subscribe button below.
