Twitter For Real Estate

I have been experimenting a bit with Twitter lately as I have recently blogged about my Twitter Success for Top Search Result. I am still undecided if I would recommend it for a real estate agent. There are probably better ways for them to spend their time. I have a feeling that some real estate professionals think that by signing up on these social networks they are going to see business automatically pick up. That is not the case. You need to develop your online presence for a while before you see results.
That being said, if they enjoy it there could potentially be some great opportunities to make new friends and contacts.

Interesting and somewhat funny article from the Globe and Mail: "Teeny-tiny Twitter was the year's big story"
I just added the Globe and Mail on Twitter so I can get instant updates there on news stories. Never even thought of that before.
Welcome to Social Media for Real Estate 101: Twitter is a also great resource I found for any real estate agent or company looking to join the Twitter bandwagon.
