Squidoo Benefits

If you are somewhat familiar with technology you may be hearing about Squidoo. If you are confused to what it is...well you're not alone. It has taken me a little while to figure out the benefits of using Squidoo. This is from the Squidoo site "Squidoo's goal as a platform is to bring the power of recommendation to search. Squidoo's goal as a co-op is to pay as much money as we can to our lensmasters and to charity. And Squidoo's goal as a community is to have fun along the way, and meet new ideas and the people behind them."

So basically Squidoo helps you get noticed on search engines and is splitting the money that is made on the ads with your website. Now I tried this for a PEI real estate company. I have made a few lenses, you can see the PEI real estate lens that I made. All I'm really doing here is setting up some content and linking to other websites. This does two things it sends traffic to the websites and it helps you with search engine presence by building some quality free links. I'm in the progress of developing a few more lenses and then linking them together to improve the search engine capabilities of all of them.

In conclusion, it's free traffic to your site, gives you search engine traffic and is free. So as they say, when in Rome.
