For those of you who don’t understand what the point of blogging is, I would like to point you to my recent post on Active Rain as an example, Statastic - Are You Tracking Your Online Marketing Efforts?? .  It serves many purposes for Top Search result.  The reasons for blogging can be different for everybody but I thought I’d share with you the reasons why I blog.

Firstly, by blogging on Active Rain (online real estate community), Top Search Result benefits in many forms.  Being seen on a real estate network is great since we like to target real estate agents for our online marketing and seo services.  So we get free exposure for blogging on the community.  It also helps being seen as an authoritarian figure which occurs by posting constant good content.

Secondly, since I have to review my client’s stats, I might as well post a blog post on it.  This shows my clients that I am paying attention to them and helps me remember where they are making progress.  At the same time the post is useful to members of the Active Rain community.

Thirdly, by linking to my clients in the actual post, I am giving them contextual Google juice from the links. 

So that is a short list of reasons why I blog and why I wrote one post in particular.  There are numerous reasons why you would want to blog as a real estate agent including building links and making yourself an authoritarian in the subject.
